Our Story
Who We Are
Nakai Kitchen began in the heart of our founder, Winifred Keneah, whose deep connection to her Liberian roots and her grandmother’s legacy of healing through food inspired a vision far bigger than the kitchen.
Winnie grew up surrounded by love, resilience, and rich flavors that told stories of survival, culture, and care. Watching her grandmother cook for the community taught her that food could be a powerful source of comfort, strength, and identity. That legacy became the foundation of Nakai Kitchen.
What started as a personal passion has grown into a community-driven brand one that honors tradition, uplifts women, and creates access to nourishing, flavorful food for all. Nakai Kitchen is more than a business. It’s a tribute to those who came before us and a promise to those we serve today.
